Itinerary Overview
The safari program to Northern Tanzania will include the visit of Tanzania National Parks which will also be combined with cultural tourism in Masai villages. You will meet Maasai Tribe dancing in their traditional ways of their life.
Itinerary Details
Day 1: Transfer to Arusha
Arrival in Arusha at the Kilimanjaro International Airport with KL 571 at 19.45h, are welcomed by our representative who will usher you into a waiting vehicle and transfer you to the Impala hotel in Arusha. Our representative will have a short safari briefing session with you at the lodge and leave you to relax and have dinner.
Day 2: Safari from Arusha to Lake Manyara
Our Tanzanian safari starts at 8:30 as we drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara with a picnic lunch en route. We enter the majestic Lake Manyara Game Park and embark on the first of the six Tanzanian safaris. This small park is sandwiched between the Rift Valley escarpment and the large sodiforous Lake Manyara. It is a pretty location, with a good range of game, including giraffe, elephant, baboon and the rarely seen tree-climbing lion. Overnight accommodation to the campsite.
Day 3: Game Drive to Serengeti
After breakfast depart 07:30 for Serengeti National Park passing through Olduvai Gorge, the site of the Leakey family discovery of fossils 50 km long and in some places 90 metres deep. It drains the slopes of the nearby mountains plus of human and animal ancestors dating back to almost two million years. Olduvai Gorge is a canyon carved by water through the southern part of the Serengeti Plain. The gorge is about the Serengeti Plain. Its chief claim to fame is the rich treasure-trove of human and animal fossils that it has yielded and overnight at your camp.
Day 4: Safari in Serengeti Park
In this day after breakfast at 07:00 we will take your packed lunch for a full day game drives in the wilderness tracking the Great migration trails. Thorough explanation about this great world event that Tanzania proud of will be provided. And in the evening as the sun goes down, drive back to your camp for dinner and overnight
Day 5:Drive to Ngorongoro Crater.
After breakfast we will start at 08:00 drive to Ngorongoro Crater, after checking in to your Luxury Camp, perched high on the crater rim, and enjoying lunch, you will descend the crater walls and spend the afternoon and early evening viewing wildlife on the crater floor. Overnight at the camp, meals included.
Day6: Drive to Ngorongoro Crater
In this day we will start early morning at 07:00 for the game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. Your Driver/Guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill at locating the hidden animals. After great all exploration in crater the drive will drive back to Arusha. For overnight and dinner at your hotel.
Day 7: Ending Off Our Safaris
After a full English breakfast we leave Arusha and drive Kilimanjaro air port for your fly back home.
