Itinerary Details

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

You are welcomed by our representative who will usher you into a waiting vehicle and transfer you to Jacaranda Hotel in Arusha. Our representative will have a short safari briefing session with you at the lodge and leave you to relax and have dinner

Day 2: Safari to Tarangire National park

After breakfast at the Hotel you leave and proceed to the Tarangire National park. This is the third largest park in Tanzania and it is characterized by the amazingly large herds of elephants that can be encountered in this park. The Baobab trees are one of the other highlights of Tarangire and the Tarangire River that flows all year round is the life blood of the park. Many animals; predators and the preys alike gather around the river where you can do excellent game viewing. Overnight at the selected accommodation in Tarangire campsite.

Day 3:Drive  from Tarangire to Lake Eyasi

After breakfast and collecting our packed lunches we will drive to the shores of Lake Eyasi where you will be introduced to the extraordinary people who belong to an indigenous tribe known as the ‘Hadzabe’. The wa’Hadzabe are one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in East Africa and live fascinating and impressive lives in the bush, not requiring any huts or physical infrastructure, living a subsistence lifestyle that relies on their skills in hunting and foraging.
Our Hadzabe friends will be very pleased to teach you to shoot their traditional weapons which they make from materials which occur naturally in their immediate environment. In the evening you will share dinner with the tribesmen and as the day draws to a close will have the rare privilege of sharing in their threatened social world, while they sing traditional songs and perform tribal dances around a bonfire. The evening is a magical one and full of atmosphere. Tonight you will stay in tented lodge which is kisima ngeda or moivaro tented camp to be close to the Bushmen for a very early rise tomorrow morning.

Day 4: Safari to Lake Natron

Breakfast, then head down to the lake shores by 4×4 vehicle – enjoy walks out on the mud flats around the shores of Lake Natron, viewing the Lesser East African flamingo. Together with a local guide make your way to the waterfalls – relaxation and swimming before returning to your camp. Natron Tented Camp or natron campsite – F/B

Day 5: Safari to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast you start on your way to Serengeti National Park, crossing Loliondo Game Reserve. Overnight at Ikoma safari camp  or seronera campsite in the Serengeti, All meals included, Before arrive at your tented camp you will be able to explore the plain of Serengeti and many species of wildlife will be seen on your way to the camp.

Day 6: Full day in Serengeti National Park

The Serengeti National Park is most famous for its annual migration of over one million and a half white bearded (or brindled) wildebeest and 250,000 zebra. Serengeti National Park is widely regarded as the best wildlife reserve in Africa due to its density of predators and prey, Today is full day game drive with either a hot lunch at the lodge or picnic lunch.

Day 7: Drive to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast we have yet another game drive before proceeding to the next highlight of our Tanzanian safari – the incredible Ngorongoro Crater. We will use the Malanja Depression route allowing us to see many Masai villages enroots.  Overnight: Ngorongoro Rhino lodge or Simba campsite (1 night)(B, L, D)

Day 8: Safari to Lake Manyara

After breakfast we drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a 6 hour game drive. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is a conservation area and a UNESCO World Heritage Site The jewel in Ngorongoro’s crown is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest UN flooded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sq kms in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. The rich pasture and permanent water of the Crater floor supports a large resident population of wildlife of up to 25,000 predominantly grazing animals. These include wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, buffalo, eland, kongoni and warthogs.

Day 09: Game Drive in Lake Manyara

After breakfast we drive to Lake Manyara with a picnic lunch en route. We enter the majestic Lake Manyara Game Park and embark on the first of the last Tanzanian safaris. This small park is sandwiched between the Rift Valley escarpment and the large sodiforous Lake Manyara. It is a pretty location, with a good range of game, including giraffe, elephant, baboon and the rarely seen tree-climbing lion.
Overnight: migunga tented camp or Aven venture campsite (1 night) (B, L, D).

Day 10: Safari to Masai village to Arusha

After breakfast at the lodge we’ll drive to Lengijave to visit some Maasai families. Visitors always relish this experience hugely. You’ll be invited into the hut of the senior wife who is present and have the opportunity to discuss many aspects of her life in the Maasai tribe: what it is like being one of several wives; how the men train to become warriors; some fascinating rules about hospitality and traveling, and many more things about why the world respects and values this unique tribe. We’ll have a traditional lunch with the family and afterwards enjoy a walk in their environs on which we’ll have the chance to discuss many issues that affect the tribe, projects that are underway to improve their standard of living without threatening their way of life and anything else that will interest you about traditional village life. In the evening we’ll return to Arusha at Jacaranda Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Zanzibar Beach and Cultural Holiday (10 days).

Day 11:  Safari to Zanzibar

After breakfast, take your own few moments preparing yourself for a flight to Zanzibar. Our driver will come at the hotel around 10:00am to offer a transfer to Kilimanjaro Air Port where you will board to your flight to Zanzibar to start your another coastal cultural tour and beach holiday in Zanzibar; our representative will meet you and transfer you to Dhow Palace Hotel in stone town for dinner and overnight at Accommodation:

Day 12:  Safari  Stone Town

Itinerary: Stone Town Tour, rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 13: Safari in Stone Town

Itinerary: At your leisure exploring Stone Town

Day 14: Safari to Spice .

Itinerary: Spice Tour and then transfer directly to your beach hotel. Spend the rest of the day relaxing on the beach.

Day 15: Zanzibar beach

Itinerary: Relax on the beach at your leisure
